Use aiohttp to create an async server which connects directly with the bridge, in-process. This begins to illustrate what a future cockpit-ws might look like... Build on Martin's research into Webdriver BiDi and use it as an async library to control a web browser to connect back to our async webserver. This is really flaky but showing promise...
