### Questions?

<details open>

Isn’t this just a retainer?

Not quite. While you do get access to me for a year, Sentinel is
different from your usual retainer in a few keys ways…

Firstly, most retainers cover <var>x</var> days a month, whereas
Sentinel is always-on. Constant monitoring and
realtime alerts mean I get to work whenever I need to, not just the few days
we pre-agreed.

Secondly, with traditional retainers require that you find work for me to
do. With Sentinel, I go looking for problems! You input is zero, while
I coordinate myself and reach out to you when you need it. Low input;
high output.

Thirdly, with a regular retainer, if you don’t use me one month, you still
have to pay. That’s just how retainers work. With Sentinel, you’re
always guaranteed a baseline of deliverables every month and each
quarter.

It really is like having me on staff, but with none of the annoying
paperwork.

</details>

<details>

That’s pretty expensive, no?

To the right company, no. But unless you’re a company
turning over several million dollars a year online, Sentinel probably
isn’t the service for you—you simply wouldn’t get the benefit from it, and
that’s fine!

For context, Google Analytics 360 costs $150,000 per year for the
monitoring alone. Sentinel comes in at way under half of
that cost and comes with my expertise, 24/7.

I recently calculated that a high-end retail client of mine loses over
$380,000 per year as the result of just a 100ms slowdown. Sentinel
represents just a 15% investment for safeguarding 85% of that
revenue.

</details>

<details>

How many Sentinel clients do you have?

As Sentinel is a lot of involved and constant work, I limit
the number of clients at any one time to five. This means I’m not
spreading myself too thin, and that clients who are so invested in and
committed to site-speed are never left under served.
