The Augmented Reality Update

In this release, we:

  • fixes another common crash when logging in to your meal plan
  • updated the hours of non-Cornell Dining eateries
  • added the ability to view eateries in augmented reality! Use your phone's camera to see where the eateries are around you, available for compatible devices running iOS 11+
  • other fixes and improvements

We hear you - Eatery may crash all the time if something went wrong with the BRB login. In this release, we've:

  • Added more robust crash reporting so that we know exactly what happened when you crash
  • Added landscape orientation and iPad multitasking support
  • Added animations
  • Obligatory 'bug fixes and performance improvements'

After months of work, we're excited to finally release Eatery 2.0!

  • A fresh, newly designed Eateries page
  • A new map view that shows all eateries
  • View your meal plan transaction history along with remaining BRBs and swipes by logging in with your Cornell NetID
  • In-app directions to each eatery
  • We now include on-campus eateries that are not part of Cornell Dining (open hours may vary with holidays or special occasions; confirm with each Eatery)
  • New filters to help you sort through eateries better
  • Newly designed search view
  • Improved scrolling performance in the Eateries page
  • Various bug fixes and performance improvements as always
