An incredible 43 commits have been pushed since the last release, and v3.0.5 has some major improvements in store. The entire theme’s typography has be overhauled to have a consistent vertical scale, performance has been greatly improved, and numerous bugs tracked down and fixed.

  • Now has consistent vertical rhythm and type-scale
  • Major overhaul of the menu to be leaner, cleaner, and no longer depended on javascript.
  • Switched to superior, semantic pullquotes
  • Syntax highlighting fixed, and deferred to speed up your blog
  • Styles for inputs (for a contact page or whatever)
  • Updated codeblock styling
  • Updated print stylesheet
  • Fixed bugs with math layout
  • Improved webfont performance by minimizing requests
