i have nodes broken from this update that i cant do anything to fix, i need to reinstall via cli but cant run the update script since it just rolls me back to things that dont work anymore.  cant edit the update script without releasing a new main version in this repo with the currrent core versions.  that updates the links that it installs from.  currently any new installs are 2 core versions behind. important versions too.
