Why Publiss

Publiss enables you to enrich PDFs with multimedia content and publish them to a high-quality iPhone and iPad App - all by yourself.

Installation

• Get Publiss sourcecode from https://github.com/Publiss/Publiss-Whitelabel-iOS
• Install CocoaPods http://guides.cocoapods.org/using/getting-started.html
• Install dependencies with CocoaPods in publiss-whitelabel-ios root folder with $ pod install
• Open Publiss.xcworkspace in Xcode 6 or newer
• Login at https://backend.publiss.com/
• Select "Apps" button (left side menu)
• Click on your app
• Copy the "App Secret", "App Token" and your PSDPDFKit License Key (if you already have paid account)
• In your AppDelegate.m setup the PUBConfig accordingly (see PUBAppDelegate.m)
• Run Project in Xcode (iOS 7+ only, iPhone, iPad)

Setup with Cocoapods

• Create your own XCode Project
• Install CocoaPods http://guides.cocoapods.org/using/getting-started.html
• Add a file called Podfile to your folder
• Paste these lines into the Podfile

platform :ios, '7.1'
pod 'Publiss', :git => "https://github.com/Publiss/Publiss-Whitelabel-iOS.git"

• Install dependencies with CocoaPods in your project root folder with $ pod install
• Open your *.xcworkspace file in Xcode 5.1 or newer
• Login at https://backend.publiss.com/
• Select "Apps" button (left side menu)
• Click on your app
• Copy the "App Secret", "App Token" and your PSDPDFKit License Key (if you already have paid account)
• In your AppDelegate.m setup the PUBConfig accordingly (see PUBAppDelegate.m)
• To make Publiss Kiosk your rootViewController add these lines in your AppDelegate in - (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions
