This plugin comes with the quality profile devonfw Java that is automatically added and maintained with every update.
The devonfw Java quality profile contains not only the previously described rules, but also Java based rules from other plugins that are vital to ensure optimal code quality (see prerequisites in installation).
For devon4j projects we recommend to use this qualtiy profile for your projects and ideally make it the default.
However, if you want to use this quality profile but need to make (small) changes to it, you should create a copy of it as SonarQube admin, make the desired changes and then make it default and/or assign your projects to it.
Please be aware that new versions of this plugin may automatically update and improve the devonfw Java quality profile.
So, if you copied it, you have to maintain your own "fork" manually.
