You can also use "L" in a eID call to generate language-based URLs. I realize that it is not the same as this option and I will research the possibility to add this feature. However it may break public interfaces in the extension, so I need to be careful here.

One of problems implementing it reliably for TYPO3 < 9.5 is the lack of language information in TYPO3 sys_language table. It contains only uid but the necessary two letter language code there does not exist out of the box and becomes optionally available only if static_info_tables is installed.

With TYPO3 9.5 it is no longer an issue, so this feature can work reliably only since TYPO3 9.5.
