Which ESH base is used in my openHAB instance

Note: Since version 2.5, openHAB is NOT based on ESH anymore, so the information below does not apply to it!

Find ESH timestamp

Find the timestamp of the ESH build used in your openHAB instance:

openhab> list -s | grep smarthome
 92 | Active   |  80 | 0.9.0.201611181452    | org.eclipse.smarthome.config.core
...

Check changes

Check whith PRs are included in your ESH build:

• https://ci.eclipse.org/smarthome/job/SmartHomeDistribution-Stable/changes

Check commit ID

Try to find the respective commit ID the build is based on:

• https://github.com/eclipse/smarthome/commits/master

FAQ

Why not considering in the nightly build of openHAB the up-to-date version from Eclipse SmartHome?

• Because that would continuously break the openHAB distribution.
• The build is trigger manually to keep the disruptions low.
