EdB Prepare Carefully v0.15.1.3 (for RimWorld Alpha 15c)

This is the second release of the mod for RimWorld Alpha 15c.

This version attempts to fix a mod corruption issue that some workshop users are still encountering.

Note that you must be running at least version 0.15.1284 of the game to use this version of the mod.

To install:

1. Find your RimWorld Mods directory.
2. Download the EdBPrepareCarefully-0.15.1.3.zip file. Ignore the "Source Code" links. You don't need those if you're just trying to install the mod.
3. Extract its contents into the Mods directory. Make sure that you don't accidentally "double-extract" the contents. You should have a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully directory, not a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully/EdBPrepareCarefully directory.

EdB Prepare Carefully 0.15.1.2 (for RimWorld Alpha 15c)

This is a release of the mod for RimWorld Alpha 15c.

While the existing version was working for many who are running Alpha 15c, some people were having problems. This version is built against the latest Alpha 15c build of the game and so will hopefully solve those problems.

Note that you must be running at least version 0.15.1284 of the game to use the mod.

Also includes a fix a for an item spawning bug that could cause the game to get stuck during map generation.

To install:

1. Find your RimWorld Mods directory.
2. Download the EdBPrepareCarefully-0.15.1.2.zip file. Ignore the "Source Code" links. You don't need those if you're just trying to install the mod.
3. Extract its contents into the Mods directory. Make sure that you don't accidentally "double-extract" the contents. You should have a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully directory, not a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully/EdBPrepareCarefully directory.

EdB Prepare Carefully v0.15.1.1

This is the first full release of the mod for RimWorld Alpha 15.

Note that you should be running at least version 0.15.1279 of the game to use the mod.

Notable changes for this version:

• The "Implants" tab on the Equipment page has been re-labeled to "Medical" and items have been re-categorized accordingly.
• There was a change to the way that the "Prepare Carefully" button is added to the starting characters page. The new approach is much more straight-forward and will hopefully fix lingering issues that some people are having where the button does not appear.

The first release for a new alpha always has bugs. Please report any issues that you might run into.

To install:

1. Find your RimWorld Mods directory.
2. Download the EdBPrepareCarefully-0.15.1.1.zip file. Ignore the "Source Code" links. You don't need those if you're just trying to install the mod.

Alpha 15 Beta 1

This is an initial beta release for the upcoming RimWorld Alpha 15 (available through Steam by enabling the unstable/public testing version of the game).

This will not work with the Alpha 14 version of the game. You should be running at least version 0.15.1272 of the game to use the mod. If you're still on Alpha 14, get the latest release of the mod for Alpha 14.

I recommend that you don't install this if you're used to the mod auto-updates provided by Steam Workshop, and you're not comfortable with manual installs of RimWorld mods. Wait for the final version of Alpha 15 to come out.

To install:

1. Download the EdBPrepareCarefully-0.15.0.1.zip file. Ignore the "Source Code" links. You don't need those if you're just trying to install the mod.
2. Find your RimWorld Mods directory.
3. Extract the contents of the downloaded zip into the Mods directory. Make sure that you don't accidentally "double-extract" the contents. You should have a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully directory, not a Mods/EdBPrepareCarefully/EdBPrepareCarefully directory.
4. If you're using Steam, be sure to disable the workshop version of the mod if you've subscribed to it. I'm very important that you only have the Alpha 15 version of the mod enabled when playing Alpha 15 and that you only have the Alpha 14 version of the mod enabled when you're playing Alpha 14. By doing this manual install, you'll need to remember to remove it later when the workshop version is updated for Alpha 15. The workshop version will not be updated until after Alpha 15 is complete.

EdB Prepare Carefully v0.14.2.1

This is the second release of the mod for RimWorld Alpha 14.

Note that you should be running at least version 0.14.1249 of the game to use the mod.

This release brings back a version of the point limits that were available before the introduction of scenarios in Alpha 14. The release also includes a number of bug fixes.

To install:

1. Find your RimWorld Mods directory.
2. Download the EdBPrepareCarefully-0.14.2.1.zip file. Ignore the "Source Code" links. You don't need those if you're just trying to install the mod.

Fixed a handful of issues. It should handle problems with modded items better now.

Alpha 14 beta 4

Fixed issue related to texture loaded whenever mods are reloaded after making changes on the mod screen. This was causing Prepare Carefully to show a blank page after clicking the "Prepare Carefully" button.
