Improve readme is a great start, but I think the right way to go would be to actually log a readable error when this issue occurs. |

@nicholascm - Sweet! But just to be clear, I am not a maintainer, just a guy with opinions :) But I also stumbled upon this issue so I think this error log would have been helpful |

I spent a little while trying to figure out what was going on here before I found the relevant closed Github Issue. I believe it would be useful for others looking through the docs as well.
