<p>Other palaeographic observations. Anusvāra is normally above the character to which it belongs. It may also be atop the next character, when required by descenders from the previous line (e.g. l5 triṁśad) or in non-Sanskritic words (e.g. l6 maṁgi), and is occasionally slightly to the left of the character to which it belongs (l10 Aṣṭottāraṁ). Short and long dependent i are indistinguishable most of the time, and are read as expected unless there is reason to read otherwise.
<!-- The script name(s) will be inserted here at a later stage from the metadata spreasheet. At this stage, you can mention here in a free-text paragraph any characteristics of the writing observed more than once in this inscription that seem unusual/uncommon or otherwise noteworthy given the general characteristics of the script in question. See EG 11.2. --></p>

The present edition was created for DHARMA by Dániel Balogh, on the basis of photographs taken by myself in February 2023 at the Andhra Sahitya Parishad Museum, Kakinada. Someone at some point must have read the plates at least cursorily, because the item is recorded in the Museum's catalogue with the name of the ruler and the granted village.</p>
