Q: What's the purpose of this app?

A: Main purpose is to provide an easy way to install must have fixes and patches for Steam games that are broken or have troubles running on modern systems.

Q: Where do fixes come from? Who is curating them?

A: Fixes database is curated by me. If the fix can be installed as is without any tweaking, I take it directly from the dev's GitHub if fix's license allows it. If it needs some work, I repack it and put it into my storage.

Q: What fixes are currently available?

Q: Does it need access to my Steam account and/or Steam credentials

A: No, it gets a list of installed games from .acf files located in the Steam libraries without using Steam account info. Moreover, it doesn't even require admin rights to work (except for hosts fix).

Q: Does it collect and share any sensitive information with anyone?

A: No

Q: Why should we trust you to not put malware inside the app or fixes?

A: Everything, including app's source code and fixes archives, is open and can be reviewed. Each fix can also be run though tools like VirusTotal before installing. Moreover, the server constantly checks files availability and their md5 hash to make sure that the files weren't replaced after being added to the database.
