Fultimator Desktop 0.1.3-prerelease Release Notes

Fultimator Desktop 0.1.3-prerelease is now available! As this is a pre-release version, please be aware that it may contain bugs or unfinished features.

New Features

Character Spells Compendium

• The Character Spells Compendium is now integrated into the Character Designer. You can use the "Add from Compendium" button to easily select spells. The compendium currently includes all spells for the Elementalist, Entropist, and Spiritist classes.

Tinkerer's Magitech

• Corebook Magitech: The Character Designer now supports Magitech from the Corebook, including:
  • Magitech Override: Instruction-only.
  • Magicannon: Automatically creatable and equippable in the Battle Sheet.
  • Magispheres: Functions like default spells with automatic IP usage.

Entropist's Gamble

• Gamble Spell: The Gamble spell is now available for your characters, allowing them to test their luck!
  • CoreBook Integration: Accessible through the Spell Compendium, with full customization options:
    • Modify the spell's name, MP per Dice, Maximum Throwable Dice, Relevant Attributes, and associated effects.
    • Add between 2 to 12 effects, each with an additional d6 roll, mimicking the CoreBook spell.
  • Magisphere Compatibility: The Gamble spell can also be used as a Magisphere.
  • Automatic Dice Rolls: Integrated dice rolls have been added to the Character Battle Sheet for seamless gameplay.

FU Parser-ready Character JSONs

• Enhanced Compatibility: Character JSONs exported from the Character Designer are now fully compatible with the FU Parser. For more details, check out the FU Parser Update.

General Notes

Important Note for Existing Characters

If you have characters with the Entropist class created before this update, please manually add the "gamble" spell type by following these steps:

1. Go to the "Classes" tab.
2. Click on the "Edit Class Spell Types" button.
3. Add the "gamble" spell type and save your changes.

• Error Handling: An error page will now be displayed when an issue occurs, featuring error codes, a bug report option, and a "Return to Home" button.
• Save Issue Resolved: Addressed a problem where repeatedly saving an item in the Character Designer and Adversary Designer could interfere with the update check, ensuring consistent functionality.

Fultimator Desktop 0.1.1 Release Notes

Fultimator Desktop 0.1.1 marks the inaugural release of Fultimator as a desktop application. This version enables users to install and run the app locally on Windows and Linux machines, providing a completely offline experience.

New Features:

• Offline Functionality:

  • Enjoy all Fultimator features completely offline!

• Character Designer (Alpha):

  • Free Access: Explore the Character Designer in its alpha stage. Please note that this feature is still under development and may have limited functionality.

• Database Management:

  • Export & Import: Users can now export and import their database to ensure backups and easy migration.

• NPC & Character Import:

  • Import JSON Files: Effortlessly add NPCs and playable characters (PCs) by importing JSON files created in the web app.

Important Notes:

• Available Features: Users can still access the following features without restrictions:

  • Adversary Designer

  • Ritual, Projects, and Items

• Temporarily Removed Features: The "Adversary Compendium" and "Dice Roller" have been temporarily removed from this release due to their online dependency. They will be considered for inclusion in future updates.

Note: Each installation of the Fultimator Desktop app maintains its own independent database for characters and NPCs.
