Server Management Welcome to Server Management. This is a dialog based driven GUI menu system backed by smaller scripts to help you get things done (hopefully) more efficiently. Server management is based on scripts designed for the RADS and FR-RADS installs, but also brings native menus into the system(ntsysv, htop, etc). You can start Server Management at any time by typing server-manager from the terminal For an FR-RADS install the following is available: FreeRADIUS Management -Add MAC Address for Auth This will allow you to add MAC addresses into the local users file without having to know the formatting or delimeters This will ask you for the MAC address you want to input, with description, and add it to the users file. It will then prompt you to add a description for the device (just so we can keep track of what these MACS are) -Delete MAC Address from Auth This will remove an entry already in the uers file and clean up spacing -Add MAC Address for Auth with iPSK Very similar to "Add MAC address for Auth", this will prompt you for an additional field, that is, the Tunnel Password -Delete MAC Address from Auth with iPSK Again, Very similar to removing a MAC Auth, but this removal option also cleans up the tunnel password *It's Very important that you use the correct option for removing an entry.. Otherwise you may remove a MAC entry you didn't want to remove. -Edit Users File Will call nano to allow manual editing of the users file. After edit, will prompt you to restart and provide status of the service -Start FreeRADIUS Service This allows you to start the FR service from the menu, and additionaly provides a status of the service after start command -Stop FreeRADIUS Service This allows you to stop the FR service from the menu, and additionaly provides a status of the service after start command -Restart FreeRADIUS Service This allows you to restart the FR service from the menu, and additionaly provides a status of the service after start command -FreeRADIUS Server Status This allows you to see the current running status of the FreeRADIUS service -Debug Mode (Radius -X) This will shutdown the FreeRADIUS service and run radiusd -X on the interactive terminal. This will allow you to see detailed output of the radius decisions for testing purposes. After testing, press Crtl-C and the Active terminal will return the service status, then exit -AD Connector Diag This will run the server through output testing in a logical order to try and decipher why you may be running into an issue with AD The program will do the follwing: -Validate that it can reach the AD server through nslookup -Query for _kerberos._udp. from the AD server -Query for _ldap._tcp. from the AD server -Initiate an RPC call towards AD to validate it -Query AD for Users -Query AD for Groups -Validate a user login (from one you provided for an active user in AD) -Restart the radiusd service after testing -Test PEAP/MSCHAP This program will test a user account from the FreeRadius perspective (via radtest) based on an AD user you provide. System Management -Check for system updates This will allow you to update the server for the core rpm packages (dnf -y update) -Start/Stop Services on boot This will allow you to enable or disable services on boot (ntsysv) -Show Network Settings Display a static output of the current interface configuration (nmcli) -Reboot the Server reboot the server -Shutdown the Server shutdown the server (power it off) Server Management Options -Enable SM on Boot (will configure SM to load when logging in as root) -Disable SM on Boot (will remove SM from loading upon logging into the server as root) System Tools -Process Monitor Loads htop for process monitoring -Network Monitor Loads iptraf-ng for traffic flow -File Manager Loads mc for file management -Editor Loads nano
