How to run

Start an IBM MQ instance with Docker on your laptop

$ docker run --env LICENSE=accept --env MQ_QMGR_NAME=QM1 \
             --publish 1414:1414 \
             --publish 9443:9443 \
             --detach \
             ibmcom/mq

The default attributes are

ibm.mq.queueManager=QM1
ibm.mq.channel=DEV.ADMIN.SVRCONN
ibm.mq.connName=localhost(1414)
ibm.mq.user=admin
ibm.mq.password=passw0rd

Build project with Gradle

$ ./gradlew build

Run the jar file directly

$ java -jar build/libs/spring-ibm-mq-demo.jar

As you can see,

• The main method, sends message Hello IBM MQ to Queue DEV.QUEUE.1
• Class Receiver and AnotherReceiver consume messages
  • Receiver monitors Queue DEV.QUEUE.1
  • AnotherReceiver monitors Queue DEV.QUEUE.2
