This release consists of a significant rewrite of the specification to clarify the existing concepts. No additional features are specified in this release.

  1. The overall layout of the specification has been improved.
  2. The ERROR names in Appendix B have been made web-addressable, so that error messages in the validators can automatically generate links to the errors.
  3. The error descriptions have been greatly enhanced and linked to appropriate places in the specification document.
  4. A set of common unit tests has been specified in JSON. Both Python and JavaScript validators will use these tests in addition to their current tests.
