Feather Sense and Motor Driver Sub-assembly

Using some hot glue, glue the motor driver to the back of the Feather Sense frame, and ensure that the orientation matches the picture below. Place the Feather Sense into the frame with the pins facing backward. Connect the pins of the motor driver to the Feather Sense board using the image below:

Motor base Sub-assembly

Place the motors into the provided mounts and secure them with the motor caps using the M3 x 4mm screws. Using the M3 x 70 mm screw mount the long stand-offs use a nut to secure the standoffs. Place the Feather Sense assembly in the front holder.

Connect the motors to the Motor Driver and the Feather Sense using the following picture and diagram:

Connect the 3V0 pin on the Feather Sense to the EEP pin on the motor driver. This will enable the motor driver.

Powerboost Sub-assembly

Screw the Powerboost into one for the two Powerboost and SBC Mounts using the M3 x 4mm screws. After mounting the Powerboost solder the breakout board to the pins on the Powerboost using the following orientation:

Solder wires to the back bad to enable the coupled charging tabs.

Raspberry Sub-assembly

Mount the Raspberry Pi to the remaining Powerboost and SBC Mount using the M3 x 4mm screws.

Full Assembly

Place the Powerboost subassembly on long standoffs. Connect the VCC and GND wires on the motor driver to the breakout pins of the Powerboost board. Connect the Feather Sense Bat pin to the Bat pin on the Powerboost breakout board. Place the short standoffs on top of the Powerboost assembly. Place the Raspberry Pi assembly on top of the short standoffs. Secure the Raspberry Pi assembly to the standoffs use the M3 x 5mm bolts. Connect the I2C lines from the Feather Sense to the Raspberry, use the pinout below to find the pins. Connect the 5V0 and the GND pins of the Raspberry Pi to the breakout pins on the Powerboost.
