Site Provisioning and Migration tool for Office 365

Project Description

I built a Site Provisioning and migration tool for Office 365 SharePoint. I built this tool with simplicity in mind, Single click will do site provisioning, Provisioning the themes and Master pages. Also migrate the lists, Libraries and Pages content to the target site including web part pages.

Supported including content

• Site Collection to Site Collection
• Site Collection site to Sub site
• Sub Site to Sub site
• Sub Site to Site Collection site
• Site Collection – current top level site

Environment

• Office 365 SharePoint Online

Limitation

• List/Library view Web part unable to migrate, since list/library view web part hold the source site list URL.

Code used

• Pnp Core – (SharePoint Pnp Core LIbrary for SharePoint Online)
• New SharePoint CSOM version for SharePoint Online – June 2016 (Microsoft.SharePointOnline.CSOM )
