Arming Abode from Hubitat
There are two ways you can arm or disarm Abode from Hubitat. As Hubitat is focused on automation, let's show how that works first.
You can make the rule based on any criteria you like, but for this example we'll use Hubitat's modes. As shown in this rule, any time the mode becomes Away it will arm Abode for away. If the mode becomes night, it will arm Abode for Home.
The process to select an action provided by the Abode device isn't super obvious. You have to perform the following steps:
- Select Set Mode or Variables, Run Custom Action
- Select Run Custom Action
- Select capability of action device: Actuator
- Select Actuators to act on: your device name
- Select custom command: the action you want
