A live web-based scoreboard and buzzer system for National Science Bowl practices

This project will teach us full-stack web development

• Frontend in HTML, CSS
• Backend in Node.js
• Networking through WebSockets

Design requirements:

• Administrative GUI to be run on a laptop
  • Current question type and who can buzz
  • Current score
  • Current timer
  • Ability to manage teams and team captains
  • Prompts after buzz-ins (Correct?)
• Mobile-accessible participant GUI
  • Nametag
  • Big button to buzz in
  • Timer
