Note: Obviously, you need root access on your phone.
- Requirements:
- Android version 4.1 - 6.0.1 (Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow); verify via System Settings > About phone > Android version
- Make a backup
- If you haven't already, root your device; the rooting procedure depends on your device's brand and model.
- You can find a guide here for most devices
- Enable System settings > Security > Unknown sources
- Install the Xposed framework

- Download and install Snapprefs from here
- Enable Snapprefs in the Xposed installer
- Start Snapprefs one time
- Reboot
- Customize the options
- Kill Snapchat after enabling/disabling options
