Some basic instructions:

# get the program
mkdir squidnote2xopp
cd squidnote2xopp
git clone https://github.com/laczik/squidnote2xopp

# Make sure latest version of protobuf and opencv are installed (there may also be other missing dependencies)
pip uninstall protobuf
pip uninstall google
pip install protobuf
pip install opencv-python

# Make sure the latest version of protoc is installed
mkdir protoc
cd protoc
