This repo contains an R project and associated scripts/workspace to reproduce maps used in an article for The Conversation website.
As of January 2022 it includes some material for a mini-survey that myself and Reka Solymosi conducted for a presentation for the Ministry of Defence.
The data used is publicly available and downloadable from the original source. The government-released IMD data can be obtained here, LSOA shapefiles can be obtained from ArcGIS open data archives here and LSOA resident population estimates can be found from the ONS here.
