In #168 (specifically #168 (comment)), the examples/maven was temporarily commented out from the build.

The goal of this issue will be to re-enable that example in the build (which will have CI with a GitHub Action, after I'll merge #168 in a minute).

@sebthom might this be something you would like to assign to yourself and have a go at, some time?
