Getting help text for scripts

You can find usage text for any ITEP command using the -h flag:

$ [ITEP_COMMAND] -h

The help text is all dumped to docs/help_texts - try searching this file if you don't know the name of a script you're looking for! If you know only part of the name of a script you can search for it using db_listDbFiles.py

$ db_listDbFiles.py [Part_of_name]

Reporting bugs

If you find a bug in the toolkit please search for it in the issues (here) and if you don't find it, file a bug report. In your report please include the following:

• What you did (the exact command or set of commands) to cause the bug
• If the source data is publicly available, an example of a file that causes the problem would also be very helpful for getting it fixed. Just provide a link to the appropriate place.

Asking questions

Please also use the issue tracker to search for questions related to the toolkit (search both open and closed bugs). If no one has asked your question before, please file an issue with your question. and answer questions related to usage of the toolkit. The maintainer will tag all usage questions with the "question" tag and answer them as they come in. Frequently asked questions will likely get their own pages on the Wiki.
