Welcome to the November 2023 release of the Templates for Power Platform.

New Solutions:

Appointment Booking

The Appointment Booking template enables your organization to easily organize and streamline the appointment booking process. Any sized organization can benefit from implementing the easy to use and manage appointment booking solution. The app's design improves coordination, communication, and time management by allowing:

  • Meeting providers to set up appointment types, locations, and availabilities
  • Requestors to select appointment provider, type, location, and time slots to book
  • Email notifications to be sent out to keep everyone in sync
  • Meeting providers and requestors to share comments with one another when booking or updating an appointment
  • Meeting providers to input appointment status data, such as attended, no show, and cancelled
  • Delegates to manage appointment slot creation and management on behalf of meeting providers

Key capabilities include:

  • Appointment Booking canvas app - an app that allows meeting providers to set up appointment slots and requestors to select appointment slots to book
  • Appointment Booking Administrator model-driven app - an app the allows program administrators to manage appointment booking data
  • IT Base model-driven app - an app that allows an admin to manage language preferences
  • Microsoft Teams and Office 365 Outlook integration - integrations with Outlook calendars and Teams that sync data
  • Copilot - an AI powered assistant that helps a program administrator manage the organization's hardware data

Hardware Request And Management

The Hardware Request and Management Template empowers your organization to request and manage IT hardware assets. The template contains the building blocks necessary to digitize and automate processes that help you stay on top of your IT hardware investments so you 1) reduce costs, 2) improve productivity and 3) minimize electronic waste.

Key capabilities include:

  • Hardware Request canvas app - an app that allows your employees to request hardware and see the assets currently assigned to them
  • Hardware Management model-driven app - an app that allows your program administrators to manage hardware budget, request fulfillment, asset lifecycle management, and provides a 360-degree view of your organization's hardware management behavior
  • Dashboards & Analytics - interactive dashboards that allow your program administrators to manage request volume and embedded Power BI that shows insights and trends
  • Microsoft Teams & M365 Integration - native embedded approvals in both Teams and Outlook that deliver chat notifications as request process milestones are completed
  • Copilot - an AI powered assistant that helps a program administrator manage the organization's hardware data
