Instructions
First uninstall/disable Area Actions from SMM if you had installed the 1.6.x version from there. Then extract the release zip from here to your_game_install_location\FactoryGame\Mods\AreaActions
. Make sure the folder is named AreaActions
(not AreaActions_version
), and that all the mod files are in that folder, and not nested one folder deeper.
Differences to AA 1.6.x
- Area Actions is no longer an equipment, but a tab in the build menu
- Selection modes and actions can be bound to the hotbar
- Copying and filling are placed as holograms rather than number inputs (the old UI still exists if needed)

Known Issues
- Key down events for binding to hotbar don't work until you switch to another category (Selection/Actions/Blueprints) and back
