Install NodeJS, Grunt, Bower and Debian packaging utils
sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:chris-lea/node.js
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs devscripts
npm install -g grunt-cli bower
If you run mica2 server for the first time, run make npm-install.
Make sure you use Java 8:
sudo update-alternatives --config java
sudo update-alternatives --config javac
During development, run
make all drop-mongo runin one terminal to start a fresh empty mica REST server on HTTP port 8082 or HTTPS port 8445make gruntin another terminal to start Grunt server with live reload on port 9000
