The Common Properties Tab

Michael Bernard edited this page Apr 25, 2018 · 3 revisions

The Common Properties tab has two sections: experiment, apparatus, and ignition information on the left; and composition information on the right.

Experiment, Apparatus, Ignition

Experiment Type

This field is a combo box of the experiment types currently supported for export. (As of 2018/03/08: ignition delay).

Apparatus Kind

This field is a combo box of the apparatus kinds currently supported for export. (As of 2018/03/08: rapid compression machine and shock tube).

Apparatus Institution and Facility

Fill in these fields with the names of the institution and facility in which the experiment was performed.

Ignition Target and Type

Fill in these fields with the ignition target and type. These fields correspond to the similarly named fields in the PyKed schema.

Composition and Species

Composition

This field is a combo box of the composition types supported by ChemKed. (As of 2018/03/08: mass fraction, mole fraction, and mole percent).

Species

Add all of the species in the composition of the experiment. Species may be added and removed using the Add... and Remove... buttons. The sum of the amount fields for each species should be approximately 1 for mass fraction and mole fraction compositions, or 100 for mole percent compositions. The input to the amount field should be a number (integer or floating point). The input to the name and InChI fields does not require a specific datatype.

As of 2018/03/08, each species has three fields: name, InChI, and amount. Each of these fields correspond to the similarly named fields described in the PyKed schema.
