Release v1.0.0 - Initial Release (2024-12-02)

This is the initial release of the UWB Indoor Positioning Android app. The app provides ranging and indoor positioning for UWB-capable Android devices.

Key features include:

  • Anchor and Responder Mode: Users can choose if their device acts as an anchor or responder. Anchors are stationary Android devices that broadcast their fixed position, while responders are moving Android devices that can see UWB ranging results and their precise coordinates within the anchor's range.
  • UWB ranging: While connected to an anchor, responders are able to see their distance, azimuth and elevation relative to the anchor, along with an arrow pointing in the direction of the anchor.
  • UWB indoor positioning: While connected to an anchor, responders can also see their precise coordinates calculated using UWB. This includes the their location on Google Maps, as well as the actual latitude and longitude.
