Specifically, any interaction with yum appears broken.

Is manylinux2014 over and done with, or will this be fixed? I believe we've seen this with previous manylinux images, and the fix is to use a slightly different mirror URL.

CentOS 7 is now EOL, so the manylinux2014 build is failing; see
pypa/manylinux#1641. Work around it by using the archive mirror.

CentOS 7 went EOL and yum can no longer find its package repos . Let's move to the archive repos then.

(Not sure why every distro needs to move things around after EOL. Can't files just stay where they are? Is it like a tradition or is actually useful? Wastes so much time and effort of the dev collective)
