Diode is a platform that lets you deploy your web apps on Linode in two easy steps so that you can spend more time on developing awesome products and less time worrying about getting them up and running
This is an example of how you can generate your own collaborative recommendation engine. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.
- Python>=3.7
- Celery
- Redis
- NodeJS
- Next.js
- MongoDB
- Linode Account
- Clone the repo
git clone https://github.com/radioactive11/diode.git
- Create and activate virtual environment
python3 -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate
- Install the requirements
python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt
- Set PYTHONPATH environment variable
export PYTHONPATH=app
- Set
.env
values
LINODE_PAT= # Linode Personal Access Token
REDIS_URL= # Redis URI
- Choose region & Linode Plan suited as per your needs 🌍
- Monitor deployment status 🔴 🟡 🟢
- Check live metrics like CPU usage, memory usage of your Linode instance 📈
- Check
output
&error
logs of your application 📝 - Re-deploy changes ♻️
