Summary
In the next release, we will be using new ORM params for the credit class creator allowlist. There are currently two parameters that are relevant here, the
AllowedClassCreators
andAllowlistEnabled
. There were previous discussions around the naming of these parameters to align more with who credit class creators are, i.e. "registries". If we want to update the terminology, the best time to do so would be before the next release given we will need to migrate these params anyways.Problem Definition
Credit class creators clearly explains the action that is allowed by addresses on the list but using "registries" would help with framing and what this responsibility entails. An address that is allowed to create credit classes is acting as a registry, and the only address that is currently allowed is an address managed by RND on behalf of Regen Registry.
Proposal
(1) continue using "class creator allowlist"
(2) update to "registry allowlist"
