List of materials
Here is a list of the different components (irrigation, electronics and nutrient solution) that make up the high pressure aeroponics (HPA). For each component we have considered a few different parts, each of them can be found in the different tables. In order to easily get an overview of which parts works well and which do not, we have the following status icons.

The characteristics of a suitable aeroponics box and vase is very similar. Exclude light on the inside, reflect light on the outside, variety of sizes and looks.

This is the largest component of the HPA, so we'll break it down into smaller sections: water pump, tubing and pressure vessel.
There are a lot of different pumps that you can choose from. The important thing is that you pick one that is between 0.5-0.8MPa of pressure, runs on 12V, and that it turns itself of after reaching the target pressure. The type of pump suitable for this is the "High Pressure Diaphragm Water Self Priming Pump". Another aspect of the pump is the connector on which you attach the water tube.

Searching for "Push Fit Tube Quick Connect 1/4" on ebay gives a huge amount of different connectors. The connectors and tubes will probably be kept to 1/2" and 1/4" and need to be able to hold at least 0.8MPa of pressure. Preferably, the brass items will be replaced with stainless steal to avoid impurities that can come with brass from china.
The solenoid is used to control when and for how long the nozzles should spray the roots with the aerosol. They are rated at a maximum pressure of 0.8MPa, 12V, and are closed when off. This doubles as a safety valve if the pressure for some reason would go over the recommended 0.8MPa.
