Private Message Welcome

phpBB Private Message Welcome

Sends a personal welcome message to user upon registration. Will send a private message if user registration in the ACP is set to

1. No Activation
2. By User (email verification)
3. By Admin

Link for settings for the extension will show on the General tab under Board Configuration (Welcome Message)

Installation

1. clone

Clone (or download and move) the repository into the folder ext/apwa/pmwelcome:

cd phpBB3
git clone https://github.com/rmcgirr83/pmwelcome.git ext/apwa/pmwelcome/

2. activate

Go to admin panel -> tab customise -> Manage extensions -> enable Private Message Welcome

Update instructions:

1. Go to your phpBB-Board > Admin Control Panel > Customise > Manage extensions > Private Message Welcome: disable
2. Delete all files of the extension from ext/apwa/pmwelcome
3. Upload all the new files to the same location
4. Go to your phpBB-Board > Admin Control Panel > Customise > Manage extensions > Private Message Welcome: enable
