PID loops are the single most overpowered tool in Botball. Look, I get it. They're confusing. But, here in this paper I'll try to show you how they actually work, without all the scientific jargon the adults always use. For this post, you don't need calculus, a masters in computer science, or an IQ over 300, just a person with a wombat/wallaby and the ability to bear with me.

What are PID loops, again? You may be asking. I'll give you the basic rundown, from a kid's perspective.
