Fuzzy Tools was created for a specific 1-person project with efficiency and a multi-camera workflow in mind.
Fuzzy Tools is optimized for an EEVEE pipeline, but many aspects still work in Cycles.
Fuzzy Tools has some focus on hair, but any project without hair can still heavily benefit from Fuzzy Tools.

Limitations

  • Ironically, Scene Builder does not work well with multiple blender Scenes. Specifically, with the creation of the Outliner Collections 'Cameras' and 'Set'.

  • The operator 'Optimize EEVEE' in Scene Builder sets the Depth of Field Max Size to 3 px to improve DoF treatment on Fuzzy floor shadows. This could create noise in renders with strong DoF. To remove noise, either increase Render Samples or increase Depth of Field Max Size, or a combination of both.

  • Fuzzy Tools is supported for blender 3.6 up to 4.2, but 'Fuzzy floor' created with Scene Builder in one blender version won't always work correctly in another blender version. This is due to the removal of Auto Smooth in blender 4.1, and the change to EEVEE Next in 4.2. In such cases, 'Fuzzy floor' just needs to be recreated.
