Welcome to Python for scientists and engineers

This course introduces the Python language to scientists and engineers so that they can begin to use this language as both a numerical calculation platform and as a means to visually present data. The main goals are to empower people with skills to efficiently conduct data analysis, visualize both data and results, and share their work in a reproducible form.

To improve the efficiency of computation, students are introduced to the bash command line and Linux. In addition, version control is used as both a development and collaborative tool.

Enjoy!
