  • Recompiled against KSP 1.4.3 (this actually happened with 1.3.2 but I never updated the version files etc)
  • Fixed SRBs failing during KRASH simulations
  • Fixed failures persisting in the editor while using KCT Recover Active Vessel
  • Fixed vessel not being recognised as having launched when no staging event has occured.

BugFixes

  • Modules that have already failed will be excluded from the "Worst Part" calculation.
  • Fixed highlight overriding not working on scene changes.
  • Parts can no longer fail if the chance of failure is less than 1%

Performance Improvements

  • Safety Ratings will now be recalculated once when a part fails rather than on every frame.
  • Removed dictionaries that are not used any longer.
  • Parts that are never used will no longer be saved in the scenario module.

  • Fixed NRE spam when no part is selected in the editor.
  • Fixed NRE spam when KRASH fails to load properly.
  • Stop unnecessary failure checks when we know the failure is going to be suppressed anyway (KRASH simulations, Missions, Editor)
  • Fixed failed part highlight being suppressed when the part also happens to be the worst part on the ship.

  • Fixed RCS failures not being able to be repaired
  • Antenna can now be repaired remotely (the other requirements still stand, so if this is your only antenna and you are out of range of Kerbin you are still SOL)
  • Fixed tanks with no valid resources being considered for "Worst Part" in the flight scene.
  • Added button in the UI to highlight your worst part.

Known Issues: When using the "Highlight Worst Part" button all parts will light up (the worst part will be yellow, the others will be green) - I literally have no idea why this is happening.

  • Remote Repair will no automatically fail if CommNet is disabled (by Github user @Maeyanie )
  • Antenna failures now actually work
  • Changed the chances of a successful repair. Remote repairs now have a default 50% chance of success, Kerbals on EVA will raise this to 75%. An engineer will raise the success rate by another 10%. (ie if an engineer is on board during a remote repair, 60% success rate, if the engineer tries to fix it on EVA, 85% success rate).

  • Recompiled against KSP 1.4.2
  • Added SRB Failures
  • Fixed various bits of UI displaying model name instead of part name
  • Upped base failure rates, as they were too low now I found the root cause of the ridiculously common failures.

  • Updated paths and all references to UPFM to reference Oh Scrap! instead (god I love Visual Studios "rename all" feature)
  • Fixed issue with generations being calculated incorrectly (and only being taken into account in calculations 50% of the time)
  • Clicking "Trash Part" again will undo it (assuming the part isn't broken)
  • Widened the GUI, re-enabled the button in the flight scene, made it remember whether you had it open or closed in each scene.

Changes from RC2

  • Tweaked failure rates (again) Finally got the balance of new parts vs recovered right!
  • Changed folder structure and mod name (sorry, you'll have to delete the old "UntitledFailures" folder manually and install this mod from scratch)

Oh Scrap! Release Candidate 2

  • Updated for KSP 1.4.1
  • Fixed Solar Panel Tracking not being repaired
  • Repaired parts will now turn off the highlight automatically
  • GUI will now display the parts actual name, rather than the model name (ie "LV-909 "Terrier" Liquid Fuel Engine" rather than liquidEngine3)
  • Implemented much simpler way of handling "broken" status (and will persist between loads)
  • Future builds of parts that have failed will get a buff to their reliability.

Oh Scrap! Release Candidate 1

  • Added RadiationShielding from Kerbal Health to the resource blacklist (by github user dramsey-rcs - give me your forum name and I'll credit you properly)
  • Vessel rating GUI will now be shown when you switch to flight view (and will actually display ratings, rather than just always giving you a 5).
  • Some parts can now be repaired "remotely" (ie without requiring EVA) as long as you are connected to the homeworld by CommNet.
  • To balance the above change: - Parts will become more likely to fail if they are repaired more than twice on the same mission (unsure about this change, doesn't seem to bad in my testing though).
  • Fixed broken parts not disappearing from the GUI once fixed.
  • Fixed messages always saying "100% chance of repair" (not sure if this made it into the last release, but added to changelog anyway).
  • Tanks will no longer indicate that they can fail if they contain no resources that can leak (including displaying Safety Ratings etc, it should be as if UPFM is not there at all on those parts).
  • License changed to All Rights Reserved
  • Solar Panels will now start tracking again once the failure is repaired.
  • Repaired parts will now automatically deactivate the highlight without having to mouse over.

RECOMMENDED YOU USE SCRAPYARD BUILD 72 ONLY DUE TO BUGS THAT DIRECTLY AFFECT UPFM IN BOTH EARLIER AND LATER BUILDS
