Releases: shodiwarmic/GroupPolicyNetworkLocations
1.3.0.0
With this version you no longer need to create the settings manually, the program can create an entirely New GPO with the required settings included.
New Features:
- Added support for NoMAD PLIST export
- Various GUI changes to support NoMAD
- Added a search for NetBios domain name instead of assuming it from DNS domain name (#3)
- Added the ability to create a new group policy object (#2)
BUT YOU SKIPPED A MINOR VERSION!
I know. I didn't release 1.2.0.0 because the only thing it add was the ability to export the existing Group Policy to a PLIST for use with NoMAD. I probably should have released it anyway, but I didn't. So here we are.
Second Release
In order to use this program you must create at least one setting for each of the following:
- User Configuration>Preferences>Windows Settings>IniFiles
- User Configuration>Preferences>Windows Settings>Folders
- User Configuration>Preferences>Windows Settings>Shortcuts
This incremental release doesn't add any major features. A summary of the changes are listed below (from the commit descriptions).
- Fixed typo in variable name
- Updated domain access to use previously declared variable
- Added policy file check to scan for policies in domain
- Created a new function to check for policies in domain
- Changed policy list refresh to check before each launch of settings, instead of only at launch
- Added a catch for the settings page to clear the textbox if an invalid policy id is selected somehow
- Made it so that the policy list and share lists are sorted alphabetically
- Removed two unnecessary variables
- Added a check for filters before adding them to the XML file
