- Extract the file contents.
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you extracted the extension.
- The Blur FB Photos icon should now appear in your browser toolbar.
- Download the Blur FB Photos Firefox Add-on.
- Extract the file contents.
- Open Firefox and navigate to
about:debugging
. - Click on "This Firefox" in the sidebar.
- Click on "Load Temporary Add-on" and select the manifest.json file.
- The Blur FB Photos icon should now appear in your browser toolbar.
- Download the Blur FB Photos Edge Extension.
- Extract the file contents.
- Open Edge and navigate to
edge://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode" in the bottom left corner.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you extracted the extension.
- The Blur FB Photos icon should now appear in your browser toolbar.
- Click on the Blur FB Photos icon in your browser toolbar to open the plugin settings.
- Add or remove keywords from the list to customize which images get blurred.
- Toggle the 'Show matched keywords' on or off to show or hide what keywords matched to the blurred image.
- Toggle the 'Show image metadata' on to show the description of the image and add the corresponding keywords to the list.
- Browse Facebook with confidence, knowing that unwanted images will be blurred automatically.
