Hi @rakeshk7097 ,

What brings us here? would you please explain more about your PR?

Thanks.

Align the kernel version with upstream version which includes essential
bug fixes and security patches.
This upgrade addresses:
- General system stability and reliability enhancements.
- Important bug fixes in key subsystems, including network drivers
  filesystem handling, and device support.
- Security patches, reducing vulnerabilities in the system.
- Eliminates the need for the `0062-PCI-keystone-Add-workaround-for-Errata-i2037-AM65x-S.patch`
due to kernel improvements in this version.

Hi @huaqianli ,

In this kernel version we have several security patches to mitigate vulnerabilities and also,

  1. we no longer need of 0062-PCI-keystone-Add-workaround-for-Errata-i2037-AM65x-S.patch patch in this version.
  2. Improved Stability: Fixes for race conditions, memory corruption issues, and driver bugs improve the overall reliability of the system, particularly in subsystems like Btrfs, F2FS, and hardware drivers (e.g., GPU and network drivers).
  3. File System Integrity: Key improvements in file systems (Btrfs, SquashFS) enhance data handling and prevent issues related to data corruption during complex operations like direct I/O writes and fsync.

Thanks,
