Welcome to the CFC wiki!

The Community of Family Circles "algorithm" is an approach to jointly inverting large, spatially distributed thermochronometry data sets to obtain a regionally consistent thermal history.

A family circle is a group of samples that share a common thermal history. The task is to automatically identify which samples belong to which family, and how many families there are, and then determine the optimum thermal history for each family circle.
