I work on the Rust compiler on my off-time. Most of my work focuses on pattern matching: I have thoroughly refactored match exhaustiveness checking and match MIR lowering. I have been maintaining exhaustiveness checking and implementing related features since 2019 such as slice patterns, or patterns, half-open range patterns, and never patterns. I've recently shifted focus to match lowering to clean up technical debt and implement features there too.
