Sequelize is an easy-to-use and promise-based Node.js ORM tool for Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle DB and Db2 for IBM i. It features solid transaction support, relations, eager and lazy loading, read replication and more.

Over the past year we have been working hard on our next major release, rewriting much of the internals and migrating it to TypeScript. We think this has a higher added value for the projects that are using sequelize as ORM and will help modernizing their codebase.
