Hi, I'm an engineering lead working in Sydney for a fast-growing startup called Cover Genius. I have been working on APIs for quite a long time now, and these days API development along with microservice architectures and SPAs tends to be my bread and butter.

I maintain and develop community projects that are highly used (and useful), and have created some cool new innovative packages/projects as well, and I have many more ideas on what to contribute. Where I am working now, we have a lot of complex enterprisey architectural problems to solve; relating to microservices, distributed APIs, multi-tenancy and other fun stuff, so I try and contribute bits of pieces of my ideas and work to github as I can.

Check out my API boilerplate project, as much of my work revolves around that and various add-ons to it and dependencies thereof.

I aim to put out packages that are easy to get into and get going with, but which also offer complex and enterprise-level features - as I generally find enterprise-scale stuff missing from the Laravel ecosystem.

I think Laravel and the work Taylor has done is fantastic, but the community definitely has it's place filling in the various gaps that do exist. If you sponsor me, it gives me more time, opportunity - and most importantly motivation to spend more time on my open-source contributions.
