License Dialog for Redot 4.0.1 Prerelease
Version 4.0.1 doesn't include any bugfixes in particular. However, the project now follows the standard convention of putting addon files inside a folder named "addons," so that it's easy to incorporate into existing projects.
Furthermore, with this release, the project is in the process of transitioning from being primarily targeted at Godot to being primarily targeted at Redot. This transition is being done primarily because I believe the Godot Engine project has lost its focus on its core mission. The Redot Engine staff and community have, for the most part, declared their intention to focus on making a game engine and using it to make games, with no focus on political or controversial social issues. This puts developers whose reputations or even legal status may be negatively impacted by affiliation with the engine in a less precarious situation.
Redot Engine is currently in a prerelease state, and as such so is this addon. When Redot Engine sees a full release, this repository will be updated.
Version 4.0.0
Version 4.0.0 is the first version of the Godot Unofficial License Dialog for Godot Engine 4.0-stable. It has been tested and is verified to work on versions of Godot which follow this version as well.
The functionality is largely the same, with the exception that the License Dialog itself has been restructured so that the text label and the component list will resize dynamically to allow each of them to fit.
Version 3.5.1
This is the first patch for the Godot Unofficial License Dialog branch for Godot version 3.5.
This is a minor update tightening up the documentation and updating the export presets. This version also includes a Windows export preset.
No major changes to functionality have been made yet.
