Feature Request - Scanning Music and Saving Lyrics Locally #5
Comments
Currently the app saves all lyrics into a database within a folder that is only accessible by the app itself. I might add the ability to export lyrics as files later. Scanning for music files and fetching the lyrics for them is quite a lot of effort (mostly scanning all the files), so it's a rather low priority feature. However I'm not against this feature and if you (or someone else) want(s) to implement it, you can always create a pull request and I can assist you with the process |
Ok. I might do that. Just looking for ways to save time if we switch phones. |
Just looked into creating a pull request but it looks like I need to be a programmer; which I am not. |
I was wondering the same. |
@teccheck Can you assign this issue to me ? I am interested in working on it |
Yeah sure. I kinda missed the entire conversation here... |
I fail to see the significance of scanning for music from storage as the search option on the app seems to be a better version of it |
I have a feature request. I noticed it does save the lyrics somewhere on the phone just not sure where. I would like the app to be able to scan my music files and save them locally to a folder.
Thanks
