Django Admin CSV Import

django-admincsvimport is a Django application which allows developers to load CSV files under django admin site.

this application mostly reuse some snippets and code for easy to use from http://djangosnippets.org/snippets/2020/ 
and https://github.com/shaunsephton/django-snippetscream

Installation
============

django-admincsvimport depend on django-snippetscream  https://github.com/shaunsephton/django-snippetscream, 
which has csv_serializer.py for csv file.

git clone git://github.com/terryh/django-admincsvimport

python django-csv-importer/setup.py install

Then add `admincsvimport` to the ``INSTALLED_APPS`` setting of your Django, before `django.contrib.admin`
to overwrite admin's change_list.html, put the following line to your urls.py 

(r'^admin/(?P<app_label>.*)/(?P<model>.*)/import/', 'admincsvimport.views.get_import'), 



Add CSV export action for you ModelAdmin
==================================

configure your admin.py


from admincsvimport.views import export_as_csv_action

class ExampleAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin):
    ...
    ...
    ...
    actions = [export_as_csv_action("Export selected emails as CSV file", fields=['email']),]
    
    or 
    actions = [export_as_csv_action()]

admin.site.register(ExampleModel, ExampleAdmin)
